Residency grants may be awarded through partnerships between the Maison des auteurs and authors' societies ( SAIF , ADAGP) as well as institutions (CNL, CNC, Villa Médicis), the Angoulême image schools (ÉESI, EMCA) in partnership with the Pôle image Magelis, and other private partners, foundations, etc. Various partnerships are also set up within the framework of international residencies. The financial resources made available may vary from one residency to another depending on the type of residency, funding and partners.
